Thank you to all of you who were in attendance at our monthly meeting. We had a great time networking, sharing a meal and learning from our speaker Francie Kane.

Francie shared a handout with us that has 10 tips on how to shake a telemarketer. It’s very tongue and cheek, so don’t come and blame me if it didn’t work however, I would like to share my favourite one with you. You play “the convict”: “Do you realize you have wasted my one call to get out of jail? Do you have any bail money?” Lets see how fast they will bail on you when you start talking like that!

As most of you know by now, my theme for the year is “Lets make it happen!” During this past meeting I talked about “making it happen” in our relationships. I referred back to Mother’s Day and how important women are in our lives. However, most women have only one flaw and that’s not recognizing what their worth is. I encouraged all the ladies in the room to connect with one another in between meetings. The coffee meetings will make one smile, it will also let the other woman know that someone cares and that they are not alone!

Our next meeting will be on June 9th, and I’m looking forward to see all members and guests at the next meeting.

Coffee Connection - Get Your Coffee Paid For! PDF Print E-mail

The Savoir Faire Board is pleased to announce a new initiative called the Coffee Connection. Members will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $5 when they go out for coffee with someone new to them from the club. The member will present receipt with both names on back and will be reimbursed via gift certicate for $5 from either Starbucks, Tim Horton’s or Second Cup.
